We are a small faith-based university and consider ourselves ever so blessed to have had the gift of Dr. Susan Resneck Pierce as our strategic advisor, board of trustees educator, and higher education collaborative mentor. As a new president, to have an experienced colleague speak truth and guiding vision to myself, my administrative team, and my campus allowed me to quickly gain credibility and create campus momentum. I cannot speak highly enough of the person, the leader, and the connector that Susan has been for my leadership. I now consider her my friend and that is the greatest gift of all.
